Hello, everyone.:)
I have begun to paint a new figure.
(U.S. NAVY DIVER 1941) This is Andrea's bust model.
A helmet (?) also attaches to this figure.
However I omitted and assembled this.
When a figure loads this, almost no face of a figure is seen any more.
By the way, a helmet is divided completely.
And small etching parts also attach.
A clear plastic seat attaches for glass.
It's difficult for me to put this together.:

Hello Hikaru....
look forward to see your painting this Diver, have thought of landing it myself,..my grand father was a hard hat diver in the Royal Navy before WW1 and the the Auckland harbour board in New Zealand, he practiced his job all over the world he even dived on the building of the Panama Cannel, while in the royal navy as well as chief diver he was a chief petty officer but as he was a New zealand born Irish and a colonial, chief petty officer was as high as he was aloud to rise to....

good luck with him mate....Phil..

I have this piece myself. One of my all time favorites. I've always been that goofy guy that wanted one of those diving helmets for his living room as a display/conversation piece! Looking forward to your progress!

Hi Mitsutaka,
I never knew that this bust had so much character under the helmet, no wonder you want to leave it off. I might have to get one myself now. Did you add anything to the kit or is it straight out of the box?
Ben

You have picked a great figure and i would agree if you leave the helmet off, as the face is pretty much interesting . Will be waiting to see your progress and how you will deal with the challenge of painting the metals !

Thank you very much Guy.

Hello, Guy.
Thank you very much for a comment of an encouragement.:)
An expression in a metallic part seems difficult for me.
Anyway I'll try.

Thank you very much Ben.

Hello, Ben.
Thank you very much for your kind comment and question.:)
I saw a sample of completion of a package.
There was also a picture of the state that a helmet isn't being loaded.
I consulted that.
A pipe is connected with a helmet.
I think it isn't necessary to remodel it in particular when making the clasp there removed setting.

Thank you very much Costas.

Hello, Costas.
Thank you very much for your kind comment.:)
Well, I bought this figure by the half price of the fixed price.
The historical figure is minor in Japan, so it doesn't sell so much.:(
So the store was doing a sale.
But I don't regret it in buying it.
I think this is a wonderful kit for certain.

Completion of body.

Hello, everyone.:)
I have completed a body of this bust model.
It's necessary to apply a little more beautifully and separate, but I'd like to contribute at this stage.
I'm using VALLEJO - COLOR and oil paints as paint.
The color of the metal used paint of a Japanese manufacturer.
I blow mat-clear from later and put out gloss.
I may violate and paint the whole a little more.:)
