Wow, excellent painting John! And I really enjoy Nino's work as well, so winning combination to view.

Stupid question: what is his right arm/hand up to?

Regards,

Adrien

Another amazing paint job mate. As always it's neigh impossible to pick an element to mention but the colour of the overall's is great and is my favorite part of this figure. That may sound odd but it has that perfect 'worn/lived in' look to it. Your work always makes me want to crack out the brushes and get to it!!

Love this figure and your rendition of it is sensational John - the wrinkles have been accented perfectly and the face is stunning.

Stupid question: what is his right arm/hand up to?

Not a stupid question at all Adrien - I think he's meant to be grasping/leaning against the propeller of a fighter (Corsair, Hellcat, etc.) - may be an idea for a wedgie in there somewhere. Personally, I think I'll re-sculpt that hand to have him holding up fingers to indicate the kills from his latest mission (I don't trust my plane modelling skills enough to try a wedgie although even sculpting 3 l'il ol' fingers may stretch me to the limit as well...;) )

Thanks for sharing John - ordering mine up right now!

Cheers,

Brian

Thanks Adrien, not a stupid question mate. The pilots right arm is to rest against a prop of a corsiar or Hellcat etc..... Will post a picture from which the sculpt is taken from.

John - thanks so much for following up. Makes sense and looks like will make a very nice wedgie.

Brian - like the idea! Given my love for this figure I may move to do a thumbs up gesture...

Adrien
