I recently received a couple of kits in the mail from my good friend, Sergey Zlobov. One was his new 75mm Sioux Indian and the other was this kit, a US Indian Scout cast in white metal. Sculpted by Sergey Zlobov this kit comes cast in 10 parts white metal.

Arriving in Author Sculpt's sturdy cardboard box the kit parts were bagged in zip-lok bags and then wrapped in a bubble wrap pouch to ensure against any shipping damage. The bottom photo above shows the entire kit laid out for inspection prior to photographing the individual parts.

Conclusion:
Another beautiful Native American by Sergey Zlobov. This is a subject not very often covered in the miniature world. Highly recommended.

This is a great bust, and also a tricky one for rookies like myself. The suitable absence of folds in some large surfaces can really make a fool of those with only a basic understanding of high light and shadows.

I can actually visualize a below-average rendition of this bust right now, that is how often I have seen rookies like me stepping right into the trap. Funny thing is we then disgrace ourselves by displaying these joke-like renditions in the local figure modelling venture and attaching an inflated price on it.

Luca would do a great job with this one.
