Had this one on the workbench since last summer's World Expo and just managed to put the finishing touches on him today. This is also the last FeR figure I have, so I will need to stock up on some of those new releases. This figure has been painted in my usual method of using an acrylic undercoat and then highlighting and shadows added with oils. Comments and critiques always welcomed. Thanks for your views.

Always interested in how oil users cope with tendency of oils to dry glossy, especially the blues!
Do you mix a medium with the paint or use a matt varnish when everything's dry?

Thanks Steve. I gave the whole works a quick spray of tester's dull coat, which in fact has added a slight sheen to the figure. Usually, the oils tend to dry to a nice matt finish most of the time. I think it's because the acrylic undercoat helps to absorb the oils, and I do use very thin glazes of the oils when painting the shadows and highlights.
