A little step away from my usual ancient stuff
This one which was unearthed in a dark corner in the house for some 20 years

Made a start on the painting of the leather jacket .
Usual primers and an Undercoat of Tamya wood deck tan applied with airbrush left to dry overnight
and a top coat of Burnt Umber oils ,same as the boots ,then lifted off with fresh dry brushes to allow the undercoat to shine thru a bit .

Usual probs with camera and uploading pics

The A2 turned out very realistic using that method Ron. It has just the right amount of sheen too (y) . Are you going to paint any 'nose art' on the back? You know, one of those scantily clad dames :).

nice looking jacket(y) painted the jacket on stormtrooper's scots fusilier this morning in a very similar way with the addition of yellow ochre highlights.

Nice oils work, excellent for the leather jacket, I remember learning to do this from old Verlinden "How to" books years ago, it seems fitting that you use it on one of his figures. Looks good
