Well Gra ...who could that be !!

I never saw any sculptor names on the boxes before insanity hit me and I just did busts !!

Verlinden ...a pioneer and a mentor for many , never met him but how I wish I had

Might be an idea to gave a Velinden painting thread as well ?

Francois Verlinden pointed the way for many modellers. Just like Shep Paine. A source of inspiration.

I painted several of these large scale models for a modelling shop here in Utrecht. I remember a camel with rider (Lawrence?), the Viking and a Battle of Britain pilot. For a finished foot figure I received 75,00 guilders which is 40 €. Later I learned that the owner of the shop sold them on for 3 times that amount.

I often wondered who the sculptors were.
