This is a really great couple of videos! Just note, though, that you need to start with the second posting (#2) and then go to the top posting to get them in order. If anyone is put off by not having much French, don't be. The sculptor's actions are self explanatory.
Also, can someone tell me where I can buy that super cool sculpting tool (I'm serious)? I assume that it is available only in France. I reckon that if I had a tool like that, I could sculpt as well as Benoit (not so serious):D!

Great videos! I've always said that the only way to learn how to sculpt is to actually watch someone sculpting. The techniques and subtle manipulation of putty is far to subtle to explain with words or a series of photos.

The only way? ;)

I know what you mean, often said in the past that you could show someone a technique in person in only a few seconds better than five paragraphs could get across, but practice and personal application shouldn't be underplayed.

The ochre/sienna-coloured one? Colour shapers are commonly used for similar effects.

Thanks for this, Einion. Following your link, I found four stores in Phoenix that sell this brand, so off I go on Sunday to take a look.
