Hi, The colors of the banners on the lances depended on the colors of the Banner (Chorągiew), i.e. a military unit and / or the colors of the province or the owner of the unit. There was no one basic pattern. In general, on the pennant was the Maltese cross, meaning knighthood, nobility. I will try to check later that could have been used near Vienna

I think you can paint the pennants as in the attached pictures. This black and yellow is the pennant of a military unit - "Banner" of Prince Alexander Sobieski, son of King Jan III Sobieski. Prince Alexander was the patron of the unit, he was then a child.
