The figures are ‘Viking Rus’ by Scale75.
This group is the last of my purchases at the El Greco shop to meet the paint brush.
The bases for the three figures were combined and then raised with a base of milliput since they looked rather thin.
The figures themselves were excellent castings which fitted together very well and allowed individual parts to be painted separately, and slotted together with no visible sign of the jointing.
Painting was mainly oils over enamels, but the long axe man’s trousers were painted with acrylics (Scalecolor Artist paints). Printers inks (mixed with oils where necessary) were used for the metallic areas.
They proved a fun group to paint.
