Hola Jose,

muy bueno!
It's great to see a WW2 subject from your hands; all thanks to Young :)
Keep it up!!!

Thanks, the Mp40 is polished whit graphite from a simple pencil over a base of sprayed black(chaos black,Citadel)and with a few touches of pure "bolter gun",again a Citadel paint;then, liberal washes of oil paint in reds, ochre, and black.Jose.

Manificent work Jose. You nailed this piece from the blonde hair to the 5 o'clock shadow to his realistic metal looking MP 40. My only critique is that the whites of his eyes aren't white enough. I guess you probably were going for a blood shot eyes look, but the whites of his eyes blend in too much with his skin. But still a great piece of work.

I agree with Manuel, the rest of the bust is superb, especially the blonde hair. It mite just need a little uplift on the eyes... :)

Yes,in fact the eyes are "blended"with the colors of the face, with shadows of dark red,and violet;like my own eyes when i dismount of my motorcicle in a dusty day!. deliberatedly obscured for dramatic effect, but the photo doesn`t shows the real work.thanks for your patient attention to my figure.¡gracias!

Gary hit it on the nail. beautiful work man! Love these large scale busts when they are painted up so nicely in acrylics!

Do you have a mix for your camo colors?
