Hey all:

I haven't done a lot of painting on smaller scale figures, but this was my representation of a WW1 german NCO sturmpioneer. Modifications include replacing the head with an Arifix multi-pose head (I kept the kit helmet), modifying and/or replacing the arms hands and weapons. I also added the clutching buried arm for a little more drama. Hope you enjoy.

Dave

Very nice, Dave! ;)

Did you also sculpt the tent section or blanket or whatever it is around the mess kit? I'm not familiar with the Warriors figure, but the ends of the blanket look so thin and you don't usually get that in a kit. The eyes are particularly well painted on that face!

All the best,
Dan

Awsome, (y) best one yet in my opinion. I laso have thought about including a foot or hand in a ww1 diorama. Very nice touch!

Dave, Nice work on the figure. The configuration of the blanketroll is interesting as is the hand sticking out of the ground.~Gary

Looks very good, I like it.
At first, I thought the hand's base looked too straight and even, but after enlarging it, I guess it's a turned up cuff that gives that initial impression.
