Nothing to add, now we all agree. Here a drawing by the master L.Rousselot, showing the 22nd "Chasseurs de Ligne" agaist Mameluks at Salahieh. The facings are orange, obviously, and the officer I think is just Lasalle, colonel of the regiment, owing to the five chevron gallons on the sleeves, and the double silver galon on the horse "schabraque".
