A quick update on another project. I have been working on this 1/32 Ultracast piece of Major Francis “Gabby” Gabreski that was scuplted by Mike Good. I started it about two years or so ago but did not like how it was turning out so I stripped it and restarted it about six months ago. The basics of the face have been done in oils while the trousers were initially airbrushed in ochres tones and then detailed by brush. Elements of the trousers need to be smoothed out and refined in places before I move on to the jacket, which will also be painted in oils. This is a great piece and shows the quality of Mike Good’s sculpting.
