OK, next in the series, now that Gordy, patron saint of pF Forums, has given me his blessing.

From the "Other" listings, I've tried to cover anything that doesn't fit neatly into the major categories.....or the ones I over looked...oops:eek:

So if you want fantasy figures, Elves, dwarfs, have a vote,
if you want a series of figures you want to convert, leave a post,
even if you would just like to see a "one off" for a bit of fun, shout out.

If there are Renaissance wishes, or "Id like to see standing Armies of pre-Napoleonic times/ Native troops of the north west frontier/ private guard of the Doge in Venice, 1540's/ Police of Tokugawa Japan" or what ever, so long as it is one of the other less well covered areas, Welcome.

The major World Wars, Napoleonic Wars, Knights, American Civil War, etc, I'll do in future polls, for more specific eras.

So feel free to post a comment on what you wish; who knows who may be reading this, and see the potential to serve the market?

Cheers

OK, my votes....
Like Dinosaurs,
always wanted to do a Dogsled team of some kind,
given recent events, the pic of Fireman David Tree, & Sam the Koala, (something about that picture seems so rightto me,
the occasional glamor/ anime babe,
and I am already trying my hand at the Sitting Duck Sculpt.:D

For what its worth,

cheers

Australian and New Zealand colonial military - but I have a very large grey army and Mrs R says I cannot purchase another figure unless I finish what I have.

Oh, the "Grey Army" phenomena...I feel your pain....

So much cool stuff, so little time....
Yep, got a hold on my stash list too....
But I really like the Idea of Australian & New Zealand colonial infantry...now there is a interesting idea!!

Thanks for sharing that!!

Cheers

well here my vote i want Mythical Creatures :D more to the monster site then the standerd Elves, dwarfs, as there seem to be a lots of them but very lacking in monsters..
next Civilians ya that some thing i don't see much
then there is the Pin up/ Glamour CHICKS section ,i got to be lieing to my self and the world if i say i did not vote that

and last one on the list is Cartoon/ Caricticture/ i did not pick anime is cos i have my fair share looking at anime figure at my home town. which i come here to escape from anime figure .....

P.S: i want a Drop Bear figure

I want, civilians and animals. Specially animals will do go well with alot of figures and sets the bases.
Civilians are great, there is almost nothing there.

Marc

one figure i would love to see is a "Polly" Farmer............Tony Dawe will know who i mean :)

most other subjects have covering nowadays even Andrea have released their civilian stuff. But what i get asked for all the time is famous female subjects such as Elizabeth the I, Queen Victoria, Joan of Arc, Cathrine the Great etc etc. their is a growing number of female figure modellers wanting to paint something that hasn't got a gun, sword or bow etc, and each time i go to a trade show mrs busso_boy gets dozens of women asking her where can they find this type of subject matter

I would like to see some of the adventurer/explorer types. How about some 120mm Lewis and Clark or Shackleton and the crew of the Endurance, or any of the polar explorers with their sleds/dogs/gear.
Perry/Byrd and the lot.

by the time i was old enough to watch him he was captain coach of the enemy, but i have met the man and he is one of the nicest people you could talk to

Thanks Guys,
so far, its shaping up like this.
- more (Domestic?) animals, via Marc, to be used to help tell stories within a vignette.
- More civilians doing civilian stuff, rather then more refugees or farmers
- More explorers, seemingly for the frozen climates. Michael, I agree, some more explorers slogging through snow or dealing with frozen rigging & decks, a piece of history, a real human interest story.
- Ian & Chris, Ah, the great man from the Cats. No reason why some of those iconic pictures of 'Polly' Farmer couldn't be sculpted...apart from skills, and the need to bathe & sleep!!!....Really, there may be a area of sports interest, Football, Hockey, other sports areas....interesting

Thanks for kicking in!

Cheers

Hi Jami,

More famous historical figures for me. Explorers, Presidents, Prime Ministers, famous Generals etc.

Colonial subjects are also of interest.

I'd also like to know if Andrea intends to do more characters from the Lord of the Rings. I've already done Aragorn and Legolas, but why did they stop there? More LOTR stuff anyone??

Ian, the only way you're going to see a sculpt of Polly Farmer is if you do it yourself mate!! I'm a Hawks fan.

Revliss,
just to ask, in case of Culture differences; what is your idea of a "Drop Bear"?

here in Australia, a "Drop Bear" is a ferocious predator, that feeds almost exclusively on tourists and naive bush walkers......

Tony,
more LOTR stuff...I'd never have guessed....Personally, some more Uruk Hai, or Orc beserkers.... but then, the dark side is so much cooler for us good types....

cheers

well i wos hoping for an 80kg kuala bear that drop on tourists but for some reason not on Australians. i know there a few figure company in Australia but none of them made a drop bear yet, but a pola bear dropping off a three will do too

p.s: do any one have a link to Andrea 's lotr Aragon model ??

Ian, the only way you're going to see a sculpt of Polly Farmer is if you do it yourself mate!! I'm a Hawks fan.

hawk's fan.......good on yah son...........my theory is if they won the flag in '78 i support 'em, that makes me a hawks fan too

Polly should of stayed with my beloved Royals and not gone to the cats and then onto the cardies

oh and i do like to seem more Australians ww2 figure, sine is the Australians that come over to fight the japanese went the Brits made some very horrible tacticle Erro ... went defanding Borneo from the japanese ..

Police, particularly SWAT type figures.

A fully kitted out fireman with BA gear would be interesting. Certainly make an interesting change from olive greens/desert tan/field greys etc etc.
