I think your idea is great!This will give us the great opportunity to know each other almost in person!In my opinion,it would be possible to have a Skype-address-box.(Skype is a type of Messenger which allows chat and multi-microphone conversation-up to 9 users at the same time,I think...).

I remember the "experimental chat room", I participated at the tailend of the "test" period and it went okay. It would be neat to have such a thing again. There is a similiar feature on a site for Civil War reenactors. What's odd is it's hard going there and finding another person online thought they have a fairly large membership. Oh well, maybe one day.~Gary
