Per Olav! Excellent groundwork as usual!! Your sculpting (with duro) on the figures is GREAT as well!

Everytime I see your new dio in progress...It takes a while to study all the details and my jaw drops in disbelief!

Waiting for update pics...

Fantastic! I just came across this thread. Did you scratchbuild these figures or can they be purchased commercially? Did you scratchbuild the machine gun on the one German pilot? It looks fantastic.

Hello Brian

The figures are scratchbuild exept heads, hands and shoes. The machine gun is some scratch and some photo etch parts from "Toms Modelworks"
I have some more pictures of the figures in my work bench.

Per Olav, Fantastic! I can't wait to see the entire scene completed. I'm not an aircraft builder but do you think the plane needs a bit more weathering or dirt as it's a crashed airplane?~Gary

Hello Gary

Thanks for your feedback.
The plane is actually a little more weathered than can be seen in the pictures. I'm also plannning to add some more dirt when the plane is finally fixed to the groundwork.

I'm no aircraft builder either so this project has been a real challenge
