Thanks Paul,
I use all acrylics so when I darkened the shadow round the eyes I used a really thinned mix probably about 1:8 ratio and just took it really slow. It took a quite a few layers to build up the shadows but it was easier doing it that way than going too dark and having to lighten it up.

I think the face looks very good now Andrew.
The smoothness of the colours accentuates the young age and health of this guy.
