Beautifully done Carl, great weathered face and that tartan is superb.
Love the leather too...overall great piece, well done mate.
 
Aw Laddie: you have done a lovely job on the very
subtle aspect of this bust. Your delicate treatment of
the plaid over the shoulder has such artistry in the
way you distinctively shown each aspect of the divisions
of colours, yet that combination of colours just "sit
softly" together within the "fabric". My friend, I do not
know how you do this? Would that I had that kind of
talent. But yet, . . . ah ha. . . you mention the camera!
Ah yes, I have been there, done that, and bought
the T-Shirt. The camera does NOT lie. We see what
ELSE has to be corrected and/or accomplished. However,
for me, your friend, I think you've hit it spot on, ALSO, as
the other fine Planeteers have indicated above!
