What a high quality in painting and doing the groundwork: Trampled down tall grass, the cape looks like wool, the leatherwork is so fantastic, the whole figure left one speechless! Great work on a great figure!

Here is the shield progress, still loads of weathering needed but getting there.

Hi Angus, could you resend your e-mail please.

Here it is again after cleaning up, not too much though. I want this to look like it was painted by a warrior not an artist.

Thanks Marc, yes he and I will be at euro, God willing. Thinking about adding something to the right hand corner as it looks bare, can anybody tell me if dolphins have blow holes? Was thinking about a spout of water.

Hardy,

This dolphin is what we called tuimelaar, (Tursiops truncatus). This dolphin has a white belly and a grey top. The hole is a blowhole. But it is not a wale. Because he is not a wale he blows no wather out of the hole. I read that only wales blow water ( if it is not true i do it with permission).
So, i think (because this dolphin is a very social animal0 you paint another behind this one.
Looks wonderfull to me.

Marc
