I agree with all of the above, but I do have an observation: I think the wounds on the forehead should be fatal as the shading and highlighting make them look quite deep. Buck and ball maybe? Joke. A shallow wound there would be extremely dramatic and in character but these appear to me too deep. In no way does that detract from the top notch paint job.--

I think the completion of your work is perfect.
I think facial painting is very wonderful.
I liked it in an expression of a facial bruise in particular.
The color of the uniform is also vivid and very beautiful.
I congratulate completion.

Superb detailing, even down to the perspiration. You have certainly brought a fairly inanimate looking bust to "life".

Hello Rodrigo,

This work are truly inspiration, this Verlinden bust is gorgeous.
Stunning work:eek:

Hi Rodrigo! Como estas? :D ( How are you?)
I really like the dramatic effect, you have made this bust better. May be a bit hard some transitions of tones, but i think you wanted this effect.
Saludetes ;)

WOW...........beautiful work here. Wait until my friend Jay sees this one!........

Couldn't agree more, you've taken what I've always felt was quite a mediocre bust and painted it on another level! Love the dirty, battle weary look to this fellow! Very well done Rodrigo!

Rodrigo, Looks like you had a lot of fun with this piece..
the weathering, worn tired and battle weary approach
really speaks...but I think Paul K said it best....
Cheers
