Thanks Kev,
I will probably be finished them tonight and place them on the battlefield

And moving onto the next batch of drummers...
Having these chaps under the exacto knife for conversion.
I've used some of the leftover Swiss Guards and spare figures, i am planning to add a total of six figures to the already existing drummers, another 2 casualties and that will complete this project.
For this conversion all i did was getting rid of the cartridge boxes , shoulder belt , left hand and lots of sanding front and back of the coat.

Hi Kev, thanks for point out the officer's spear, perhaps i did it myself when i was placing these last kneeling guard, always good to look at those details for fixing.
As for the battlefield pics, i will post bunch of pics when done with the project .
Best regards.

Made good progress with these Drummers,
All lace done, cleaned and basic colors are applied.
I have used some of the existing head plugs from the swiss, got rid of their mustaches, some light sand, primer and base colored..
The drums are primed as well.

Started the King's livery lace on one if these chaps, for the base color of the lace i am using Vallejo silver grey with a dab of Metal medium and matt agent.

For the crimson pattern i am using Formula P3 Murderous magenta with a dab of Army painter Red.

Hi Kev, the king's livery pattern is a painstaking work, but if everything goes well i generally finish the lace in about 1 hour or so....

Lace done for one drummer, added the holster for the drum by using lead foul and built the Fleur-de-Lys metal furnishings on it.
I've drilled a hole on the figure and pinned the Drum case , painted the base color in blue, washed a couple times with Army painter blue wash and added some lights in the most prominent areas
