New wip, just started this 1/12 bust. Sculpt and fitting is awesome, barely used any putty!
Using heavy body acrlylics this time from Scale 75. Have to be careful with it but I really like the versatility and tones you can get from them, the paints have a sort of lemon scent that just adds to the experience :)

Very nice start. I too love those Scale 75 paints, although that nice smell isn't quite as fun as the evil chemical smells of Humbrol and the like back in the 60s/70s........

I'm a big fan of the Scale 75 paints too, you get a nice flat finish.
Great start, the flesh tones and the graduation is seemless.
Do you use a retarder?

Thanks, I do not use any kind of retarder, I work with thin layers after the sketching phase and wait until the last layer properly dries, except when I do wet blending in some occasions.

Love that face and aroma therapy paints sound interesting. I use quite a bit of SC75 paint but haven't noticed any particular scent, but then I'm raping while I paint so that's probably why.

Cheers Simon

Are you using the artist range with heavy body acrilics? Regular ones do not have any scent.
