After a long time away from the brushes & paints I've finally got around to getting these two close to the finish line, BSM Williams & Lofty from the 1970's & 80's comic tv series "It ain't half hot mum" this being the episode where the Union flag is lowered and BSM Williams orders Lofty to play the bugle but he can only play the drums, a very funny moment in the episode in my opinion.
Lofty has been scratch built and BSM Williams bust from Chris Sorby has been converted from
into a full figure, boots & gaiters were supplied by Steve Reedee's Miniatures.
Almost finished, just a bit of touching up to do along with a nameplate needed.
Apologies if photos are a bit dodgy.
Cheers

Superb Jim, I know this scene well. Lofty Was told to play the last post and the rest had me in stitches. Hope you are okay Jim all the best with this project.

Hi Jimbo

Nice to see you've found the brushes mate , looking good , so right to have the pairing

Lofty is a cracker ...like the slightly bulging tummy , glasses look good

Look forward to seeing the final brushwork and pictures

......and the next whatever subject it is !

Happy benchtime

Thanks Kev, it was a bit of a re-education to get back to the brushes after so long, I should have made Lofty a wee bit more rotund but it'll do now.
cheers
