Hi folks

I recently received a torso and a hat from TFB ( quick service ) of a ACW subject details below ,so started looking around and found a fair few wearing the hunting shirt during the later 1812 war

https://www.planetfigure.com/threads/awi-1-10-multi-hat-bust-from-tfb-miniatures.576621/

After donating the cap to spares , I removed the tied hair and the buttons on shirt building up new facial hair and hair as well as a new shirt

I also added a collar and a necktie

Took off the end of cross belt adding another longer version with retaining strap

For the hat it was case of trial and error on both brim and crown together with a lot of carful sanding !

Added the side details on hat top edge and a brim band

Starting with this ( but the unbearded version )

Hi Guys

Thanks for the comments appreciate them

This all began after doing the slouch hat , learnt a lot from that so I thought ....could I do this ....and this is the result

I quite like the colour option of the red edging so that's what I will go for

Stay tuned .......

Happy benchtime

Great work my friend, you can’t resist turning our busts into something different well done indeed. I think the fact you can do this with our multi part bust, goes to show how versatile it is plus you can fill your spares box mate lol.

Great job looking forward to seeing the paint go on.
