Hi Folks

Inbetween family stuff and getting Bugle Call sorted managed a little painting on this piece , took a long time , fairly happy , still to put a darker wash over and shadows in and then relook at the highs

For a break starting on the red tasselling ....might add a line of stitching just above it on all parts

Shirt just basecoat

Managed to get some paint on this , still working on face , lips and final highs , blending a bit to do , shirt collar needs tidy up , then the hat , might put a difderent colour band around it

Not 100% sure about the lining on the hunting coat .......

The face looks excellent. I'm not sure about the coat, you've given it a kind of quilted look. I took a quick Google and none of the references I found had that kind of effect, but maybe there is something specific you are trying to replicate?
 
It’s come out very well nap you have really changed the original and it’s worked so very well indeed.

Still working on face , thanks for comment ref coat ....I have now took that away it was and now a plain base coat ........let’s see which way it goes ....there’s no texture so maybe hat at threads
