The painting continues.Painting the helmet involves washes and opaque colour much in the treatment of oils even though acrylics are used.comments welcome.

I love this , the pose the facial details , the strands of hair sticking up , wonderful touches ...is this a commercial piece as well ...hopefully and can I have the link !!!!

Too Cool, Andy!!!

The white enameled tin cup with blue interior is a great touch! When I was growing up in the 50s I seem to remember my parents having a set of outdoor picnic stuff with those kinds of cups.

The strands of hair standing up, the facial expression. What's not to like?!
