Hi all ... this is a little side project to keep me sane while I do the 200mm full figure Fallschirmjäger! One of only 2 figures I bought at Euro this year :)

Occasional updates will follow

Hi Mark
Oaou amazing job so far paint the face is very good.
I expect the next step in the painting of other parts that will surely be a Fallschirmjäger kamo

Well done (y)

By the way, I just so happened to have a real Fallschirmjager helm on my desk the other day (a piece from Chris "Panzer" Mrosko's collection)

DES's rendition of the helm is great and they have even captured the subtle pointy leading edge of the helmet outlined below in the pics (ya, that's my work area... quite underwhelming compared to other figurists ;) )

Cool!

Hats off to guys like you that can sculpt this kind of stuff. I'm hoping to use a wee bit of CAD to 3D print a Brit para helmet...cos I haven't got the old school skills!

Cheers,
Jon.

Keith ... Many thanks :)

Sebastien ... :)

Marcel ... many thanks again :)

Gordy ...thanks! Nice lid! ;)

Sam ... Thank you :)

Jon .. Cheers :)

Michael ... Thanks :) It is a lovely sculpt!

Ken ... Many thanks :)

I spent most of todays session painting the brown splinters on the tunic... and on the DML 1/16th figure thats been hanging around on my bench for 3 months!

I have painted the pattern a little on the large side but once the green splinters, rain marks and some shading and highlighting have been applied I think ( hope ) it will look okay!

Painted the leather up on the holster too ....

:)
