Well done - really expressive face.

Beautifully done, the face is extraordinary in the way you've captured the shadows and highlights - congratulations!

42nd (Royal Highland) Regiment of Foot

Beautiful work! Know this is an odd comment, but the painting on the back of the figure with the complexity of the tartan and the detail on the bearskin is wonderful.

WIP Attack on La Haye Sainte at Waterloo in 28mm

Enjoying seeing the progress you're making on this extremely ambitious project! Oh my goodness, 100+ figures, plus buildings etc. at 28mm scale, that would be the death of me! Keep up the great work!

Major of the 5th Hussars regiment, France 1807

Beautiful figure and lucky collector! Tremendous job on the lacework and the ice effects.

Cameron Highlander, Egypt 1882 (DF Grieve, 65mm)

Really well done. Congratulations on the tartan - that must have been a labor of love (or hate by the end). I'd like to acquire and paint a David Grieve figure at some point. I've seen them in photos and they have tremendous character.

    General Colbert at Waterloo

Amazing work and love the details!

    French officer with house

Impressive work - the town house setting elevates the soldier - both literally and figuratively!

    Jacobita

Fantastic work! Might seem odd to write, but tremendous job on the socks! With such a great work, they're probably overlooked, but I think they're even harder to paint well than the kilt. Congratulations!

A couple of Bonaparte's on the bench

Thank you Mike, I'll give that a try on the figure I'm starting. I've never been happy with my painting of five o'clock shadow, and I've only used oils sparingly.

A couple of Bonaparte's on the bench

Great start to both of these! Awesome job with the faces. How do you do the "five o'clock shadow"? Really like the look - visible but not overpowering.

Cleaning out the Pocket', Colmar area, France, 23 Januari - 5 Februari 1945

Excellent work and love the detail you added to bring it to life!

Fantastic, great work on the face and the uniform is coming out really well. Cool pose.

Warhammer 40k "Chaos Demon Prince" for the wife

Figure came out great and hope you had fun painting it! Only hope she didn't give it to you because the figure reminded her of you :) Actually did a figure for my wife several years ago and it was a bigger hit than I would have guessed. Everyone can use some brownie points...
