French Carabinier bust from CGS Military Figures. Another beautiful sculpt from Carl Reid.

Wow!! Looks great Kurt. The flag is super. Need to find mine in the GGA barracks. Don't remember the flag being engraved. You are a free hand master if not.

This is another brilliant casting effort by Graham at CGS. The flag is beautifully detailed on both sides, surprisingly thin and flawlessly cast. I honestly don’t know how he does it.

The rest of the kit is terrific as well.

Hi Kurt

That's stunning , the effect of the material on the flag is just great , lovely white , fine facing colour

Why not enter a piece into the class of your choice in our May's FOTM comp and also vote in Aprils classes as well

....And enter in Vignettes & Diorama #3 which will be running till 31/12/21 with voting till 31/01/22

Always good to see the artwork

Thanks for sharing

Look forward to the next

Happy benchtime

Excellent! I believe you’ll enjoy this one. One bit of advice - I’d recommend wearing a rubber glove on your non-dominant hand while you’re painting the flag. It’s a challenge to paint, and the glove will let you handle it and avoid rubbing the paint off. I rarely use a glove when I paint, but it really helped with this one.

That's a great advice. I don't wear gloves too but will give it a try.
Cheers Sven
