I think that I was incorrect in describing the piping as Waffenfarbe. It is 'Silver piping' and is not the same,as such. However, pilots with the rank of Fahnrich and Oberfahnrich would wear a cap with yellow waffenfarbe and also officers silver bullion cap cords as they were NCO's who were...

I agree with the comments abut the jacket, the leather is superb. Just one thing, if I may suggest that the Waffenfarbe on the luftwaffe officers cap should be silver,not yellow. Hope you dont mind me pointing that out. I dont mean to sound like a know-it-all a---hole.

I like the Nazi figure and would like it in my collection however I would like to hear a report on how well it fits together. I dont want to buy this fig and then find there is a gap between its Butt and the chair when I put it together.

I like White metal best. I equate it with good traditional quality and I like the heft of it. I'm very paranoid about resin dust, in fact I have been put off buying a beautifull figure because of it.

This looks realy good and the insignia adds a lot of interest to this WW1 figure. Just one thing though,the medal ribbons look splendid but I think they are in the wrong order. The Queens South Africa should precede the Kings S.A ribbon. I apologise for being pedantic.

You have done a great job on this interesting figure and the Khaki shade looks bang-on to me. I think that Ron Cameron was an excellent sculpter. Thanks for bringing this range of figures back to our attention. I will be round to Traditions to get one this weekend.

I can only speak for london and its not looking too good I'm afraid. The only surviving figure shop I can think of is "Tradition" in Sheperd st,Mayfair. Not far from there in Picadilly arcade is a shop selling painted figs for collectors... The halcyon days of realy good model shops in London...
