Hi Ivo, I,m sorry I do,nt have a picture of the tartan but it,s just the Black Watch It,s supposed to be a little lighter but they are realy just the same,if you search Black Watch or Argyle and Sutherland tartan I,m sure you will get all the pictures you want.hope this helps George

Hi Ivo, I dont want to be a rivet counter but there a couple of things.He was a Captain not a Sgt and as an officer he should have a badgers headed sporran this is not very clear in the painting but its there if you look closely.Hope this helps George

It seems a shame to nitpick such a well painted bust but the dice on his bonnet should red white and green he,s not in the 93rd:( sorry

I,m sorry to be a rivet counter but the officer ,s cap is wrong.Officers wore a plain black cap without a toorie where as the rank and file wore the highland bonnet cocked into the shape of a LI shako and had the toorie and tails George

Got mine at the Glasgow show it,s a cracker

As an oil painter I find they do,nt dry as slick as acrylics and give the oils a better grip.If you just cover the surface with a little water they will last for ever just do,nt let them dry out George

Hi Dee. I have used Plaka for years I now use it for all my undercoats since moving to oils.I have some that must be over 10 years old as a little go,s a long way they will last for ever as long as they dont dry out even then you can grind them and add water and they are almost...
