Hi warren, Thanks, this will be a full figure and the guy is supposed to be firing his PPSh-41. It's just my speed in sculpting is pretty slow as I got rusty with the process ( had switched to learning Blender and haven't touch Zbrush for almost 2 years ) and had forgotten a lot of the procedures:-)

Hi all, Attached are some "work in progress" images of my recent sculpting work. Originally it's one of a low poly figures ( for composition purpose ) I had created for an illustration book cover project. Now with some free time at hand, I hope to continue and turn it into a higher resolution...

    Rapid Prototyping Minifigures

Mandreas, :) You 2 guys are sinful.:) 3D is not even sculpting and 3D printing is always lacking ...... And how dare you guys are showing what the technology can do at this point :);) Pretty much reminds me when people were saying to me that Photoshop is useless when I was painting with...

    Rapid Prototyping Minifigures

But soliscape are mainly for wax model prepared for lost wax casting, is it? I am a bit lost with this vast output possibilities:unsure: I think clearing the support will not be a serious problem as I am just looking for a printer for casual hobby purpose and as long as the cost won't have...

    Rapid Prototyping Minifigures

Do you have to decimate the model a lot in order to get it printed and how many polygons for the panzer commander head? vince

    Rapid Prototyping Minifigures

Mandreas , That's look real good, how long does it take to print the robot head out. Shame that I had to make up for the furnace payment instead of the 3D printer, hope I can get one within a few month's time ( and at the meantime had get more illustration jobs and less time for fun...

Digital sculpting for dummies (written by a dummy)

Where is RKapuaala now? Seems he stopped visiting the forum since 2014. Had to thank the guy as I happened to stumble across this thread last year and it's the postings and effort from him and Pokrad got me back to sculpting again ( or at least I tried again :) ) . Hope he is still exploring the...

    RECASTERS !!!

Hi Stu, I think there's no way to rid of the recaster completely:notworthy: Had been sculpting and producing figures before. For small producers ( like me ) it's hard to keep on and it's even worst to have recasters selling your works. Only way to deter the recaster to choose your figures is...

    Tiger Panzer commander

Please, please, love to see how 15 micron comes up ( sorry to sound like a spoiled kid wanting candies but I'm really excited :):nailbiting::) ) Thanks for the info of Makex which I am not aware of. vince

    Tiger Panzer commander

Hi mandreas, Good to see the figure in physical 3D print! Wonder how the detail of the eagle on the field cap holds up as the photo isn't too clear. Is that layer thickness 0.075 microns ( or 75 microns ) and what printer is it? vince

    Zulu Warrior revisit WIP

Thanks Mark. The water heater is basically no issue as the company will replace for free since it's a rental one. It's the furnace that cost me both arms and both legs and even my head to replace it. Damned, guess that's you gonna need to factor in if you are chaps like us living in the Great...

    Zulu Warrior revisit WIP

Yup, same things happening here, it's almost always like a circle game as I have been a freelancer all my life. Had bought Zbrush when it first came out, try it a few time and the learning curve is really steep ( wish I am the type of monkey that can push buttons ). then household bills swamp in...
