    Games Workshop 28mm

Nicely done flag, Tim! You might consider drilling out the barrels on the weapons. :thumb:

    Any one speak Russian?

Mike, I understand completely! I have to use magnification for most of what I paint these days, too. :( <sigh> I look forward to the final result! Justin :)

    Any one speak Russian?

Mike, Andreas's translation would be the most correct/appropriate! Shoud I remain ever-hopeful that it's for a large-scale piece or dare we venture into Flames of War? ;) Justin :)

    Any one speak Russian?

Let me guess, Mike, this is for WW2 Soviets? ;)

    The Widow (Warning Bloody)

Yes...? How did you achieve the blood effect?

    New Napoleonic

At first glance I would have sworn it was a flat! :)

    Foundry new releases

    Yes - I do. :)

    Favorite historical period

I chose 1500-2005 because it covers the Napoleonic era! ;) But you could very easily break that time span into at least a dozen different periods! Justin :)

    Foundry new releases

Roc, These are 28mm. They are more commonly referred to as 25mm due to that being a standard for the larger of two scales for Historical Wargaming for over 25+ years, with 15mm being the smaller (now more commonly 18mm). Justin :)

    Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it! Thanks to those who have wished it! ;) Roc, that cartoon is WRONG in so many ways! (Wrong, yet funny!) Justin :)

    French Trumpeter Orleans Cavalry

Roc, Traditionally the trumpeter would ride a gray horse. Doesn't have to be a dapple grey, but you might want to practice your spots just in case! ;) Justin :-)

Marshal Ney in Russia - finished

Colin, I'd love to see you go for another Napoleonic project! :) (HINT HINT HINT) Justin :)

    My secret, for Justin

@ Konrad - TOO FUNNY! He/she/it does all the work and you get the praise, yes? ;) And you had us thinking it was the dwarfs! Justin : -)

    Konrad's Flats added to Gallery

I KNEW he had secret! Justin :)

    Russian Banner in progress

Nicely done, Konrad! :) Are you sure it is not 30mm for the spear point only? Justin :)

    Husar H3 finished

Konrad, The Trumpeter is also beautiful! I am glad to see flats presented on Planetfigure in this way! Thank you and please show us more of your inspiring work! Justin :)

    Husar H3 finished

(DISCLAIMER: This is said in a very calm and friendly fashion and is not intended as an attack or flame or any such stupidity and is meant to edify not to tear down.) ;) @ All: Dario makes some very good and valid points! If his points fall on deaf ears to future sculpting endeavors, then...

Banner carrier of the 3th prussian husar

Konrad, Truly a BEAUTIFUL work of art! Well done and I'm sure we all look forward to seeing much more of your work! :thumb: Thanks for sharing it with us! Justin :)

    Varnishing "metal"

Howdy Rudi! I must agree with the Gary, Eddy and Anders and suggest acrylic finish. It's rather sad yet funny (now when looked back upon), but the first figures I did using Humbrol (and other enamel metallics) over 20+ years ago suffered terribly from "fuzzy metal"! Even after drying...

    Horse head 2

Nicely done! :thumb: But the bridle cuts into the head above the eyes (especially) too deep and then just below.
