Hey Pedro, if you are looking for mannequin parts, JMD made them... torso, pelvis, head, hands and feet and some wire, enough for three figures per package.
They went out of business in August but some suppliers may still have them in stock. Michael Roberts does them too.

There are a lot of mannequin available on the market. Any of them is useful and well proportioned.
JMD is a little bigger than standard 1/30 scale but I used it for Russian General Yermolov and was absolutely good.

True, they are a touch bigger than 54mm. Not huge but not easy to mix with other parts

Things are coming along nicely.
Question:The coattails, though shaped nicely to the back of the horse, do not have the turnbacks... do you oaint them on or do you add them as a separate piece to the tail? Isn't it harder to add them after the tails are in place rather than making the as part of the tail and shaping it all together as one piece?

Look forward to your progress and taking notes along the way

that's depend if the original turnback was sewn or folded... in this case I've to reproduce the sewn version and sculpt it won't be very difficult

Thanx Ivo
You are a great source of information... experience has it's advantages, no? ;) Hope you don't mind that I keep asking questions on details as you go. I am picking up alot from your SBS's and the details are important

Cheers
