Bit late now Dave, but I was going to suggest reverse masking them. Paint the base yellow, white or red, then apply the top coat. Remove the mask, voila.
I'll have a think,

Yes brilliant idea, but just a bit to late. I may just cut out the numbers from the decal sheet inside the line, then place on the Tiger and use a very thin pen to dot mark before covering with the paint??????

I'll experiment and feedback!

10 Months of planning, pain, headaches and fun has finally come to an end.

Thank you to everyone for your valued support (you know who you are)

Apart from some finishing touches it is about 95% complete, so pics for your judgement below and when I have some spare time, along with some good sunny weather, I will get some better outside shots:-

Outstanding work Dave and well worth the wait, I can't believe it's been ten months. They all look very realistic in their positions. When you next post could you do some individual shots of the men.

Thanks Lew J.

Hi Dave,
Mate - can you please send me a bottle of that Leicestershire water, cos' there is something definitely in it. Outstanding master class, thoroughly enjoyed every step. The attention to detail outstanding.
You have been very inspirational not only to me but I think a lot of others. Top notch.(y)
cheers
Richie

Dave an amazing build and I've enjoyed following it for the last 10 months. Superb attention to detail and I'm looking forward to studying it in the flesh, Figureworld or Euro perhaps. Congrats.(y)

Cheers Ken

Wow Dave, what a fantastic result!

Are you going to bring this beast to Euro?

I'm going to grab a beer and re-read this thread from the start, all 600 posts!

Very inspirational!

Cheers,
Jon.

Thanks for all your positive feedback and comments guys.

Lewis, I'll update as best I can with the individual's in due course.

Richie, very kind words mate and is a great confidence booster for my next projects!

Ken, many thanks, hope to bring it to FW mate, but it's blooming big lol!

Jon, great to hear from you mate and your early help was very much appreciated. Look forward to seeing you at FW also.

Cheers

Dave

Yeah, well worth the wait. You're hard work as paid off, hard to believe it's a model.
Can't wait to have a peep at Figure world,
What are you going to do next, Paint the Forth Bridge, Sistine Chapel perhaps?;)

Ernest, thank you for your kind comment.

Carl, you know how I feel about the quality of your work so to hear you are also pleased with the end result is a big plus for me.

Now then, next project.....................still planning but will take a well deserved break, this has taken many hours ( I reckon an average of 15 hours a week so a total of circa 600 hours!!! Maybe an opportunity to use the next few weeks in researching any idea's and get the blood flowing again.

I will update my website during this time also, so plenty to do.

Thanks
Dave

Hi David I love all the hard work you have put into this !!!! It will draw a crowed at any show you take it to , I just hope I get a chance to see it in person one day .
Sam

An epic journey mate but well worth the effort looking at the final result, I am going to look forward to seeing this at Figureworld if you make it.

All the best

Steve

So you got it done!
Congratulations with the succesfull conclusion of this journey, because that is what it was Dave!
I am much impressed by your eye for detail and wonderful result with the corkwork, stained glass and panelling. the idea with the garden moss adds an impressive touch!
Just one thing, and I hate to be a nit-picker after all your wonderful work, but the guy in the copula of the Tiger is the only Wehrmacht guy amongst lots of ss guys... Or is there a story behind this? I may have missed that.
Well anyway, I have much enjoyed your work and thread, thanks for that. I hope to see this one in real life once!

Cheers,
Adrian
