Hello all - I've made a bit of progress on this one, mainly the face and trousers. The gaiters are still just primed. This figure is coming along quickly (for me), probably because I'm enjoying painting it so much! Thanks for looking.

I have often wondered why David Grieve did not do one of these figures in 100/120mm. He has the knack of capturing the look and bearing of British soldiers, especially the Guards' regiments.

Excellent rendition of a superb figure so far.

Thanks for the kind comments guys, always much appreciated!!

David M. - likewise, thanks!
David H. - normally, I do use oils for my whites, but I decided to do this figure entirely in acrylics (even the face). Trousers were white, black, and english uniform.
