Light sanded and cleaned these 17 troopers, i think my hand and fingers are achy .
Primed these fellas with Automotive self etching primer, let them dry under a little bit of heat firn30' and layed the base colors for the coats.
As you can se in the pictures, i uave use all of these different blues, every 3 troopers i have switched to the next blue and at the end i mixed some of them and finished the rest of the troop.
The idea is that , simce the Frenchies have their coats replaced every 3 years, not all of them would have worn out the same, and i want to avoid the "cookie cutter" look, especially when you have many of them.
In the end, they will look almost the same, not big difference in shade from one to another.

Hey W,
I have at least 4 different variations of blue for these figures, a couple days ago y decided to try the Army painter Blue Ink wash, they are now basically look like they have been based coated with the same paint and now they have a slight sheen.

Hi Daniel

Pleasure to catch up with you , the Marshall looks really good painted and now ridden onto the field looking every mm the part

Work on the 16 continues well , interesting about the blues, nice variation within the ranks
