Nice placement at the back rather than being in the main focus. Guessing the composition of so many figures isn't at all easy, he is really very good.

Cheers Simon

Hi Daniel

That's one lovely piece of painting on both the Officer and horse , love the long pigtail he has

As Briggsy said nice placement

Look forward to the next updates

Happy benchtime

Thanks Simon,
It required a lot of thinking and planning.
It has to make sense and the flow to look a natural scene of the Battlefield.

Thanks Kev,
The long pigtail is nice, not 100 % sure it was the norm in the French Army at the time.

Almost finished with this Marechal de Camp.
Still need to work some details and lights and shadows on the horse.
For the gold lace i have used Vallejo game Glorious gold and a dab of vallejo yellow ink, a light wash of Vallejo sienna once the lace paint dried out.

Hi Daniel

Nice Marshall , glittering with gold , he looks like he lives well ! , the sculpting of the facial features always seem to be good on your figures

Look forward to seeing more on the horse

Have fun and thanks for the updates
