A big drop in scale after painting the Goblin.
The FeR mini scale busts are a lot of fun to paint.
Still in the early stages, and yes as usual I've forgotten to paint in his eyebrows.
(will I ever remember:eek:)

Nice start, I'd be interested to know what colour combinations you use for the facial shading.

Cheers Simon

Hi Simon

I use this set of acrylics for the flesh tones, very pleased with the results I've been getting.
There's also a very useful guide inside to painting flesh tones in light and dark skin.

Thank for you nice comments, this actually means a lot to me, as I have arthritis in both hands and I have to wear splints permanently.
So I've had to adjust the way I paint.
As for the eyes, part of that is down to the new Redgrass lamp, it making a huge difference.

yes, of course I didn't know that, but that makes it special not only for you but also for us (1/10) painters, we will no longer complain that it is too small (uh.. the bust then)

Firstly the eyebrows are painted in, I hate painting them, perhaps that's why I forget.
I made an initial start on the jacket, but need to add some dark glazes to obtain a better tone.
