Great work Roger.
Good to see these Danes together but a shame that you have banished them to the cabinet at this early stage..........they will look awesome on a plinth ;)

Cheers Keith, the problem is I go back to work in the coming week so by the time I come home again my interest will have shifted to another one of my projects and these will be in the cabinet.

I remember that from the first time you posted some from this conflict ;) What do you think of the tv show 1864? and how is the reviews in the press?
In Denmark the reviews were a bit negative, because it's not quiet historical correct when it comes to how the political side is presented and some of the military facts as well. I liked it however :D and it is minor irrelevant details that caused the negative reviews.

1864 was tucked away on one of the less "high profile" BBC channels and was on when I was at sea working Brian. I did watch it when I came home on the BBC i-player and really enjoyed it, in fact although I have read on the subject quite a bit, well as much as I can in the English language, I didn't find myself getting to hung up on the inaccuracies, probably because I was so pleased/surprised to see a dramatization of a 19th century European conflict on the tv. :)

Roger,
Nicely done and look dynamic together. Maybe you could teach the Mrs to do the base while you are at work and then when you come home you can move on?
Cheers
John

Very nice Roger!.
They look great, i think you could probably use up a little bit more light when you take picures, or it may be me and my 42 heavy years of age that it' s taking its toll .
Great to see your work as usual, i enjoy it very much.
Best regards

Thank you Daniel. Maybe you are right about the light but we don't all have the benefit of Florida sunshine. :D

Hi Rodger

cheers mate would love some I only have a few bit of art work on the war very limited. I have the Prussians but the Danish side is a little different. the cav look interesting. I think they would make an interesting study.

Here you go, Ian. The famous fight of Dragoon Niels Kjeldsen who took on single-handed a bunch of Prussian Guard Hussars. It all took place in February and there was snow. So there's a bit of "artistic license" with the first painting. The otheres are correct.
