Hello everyone.
Here are a couple of my latest figures. The Australian Lewis Gunner was a cold cast bronze and the RAAF Pilot (almost finished) was one of the new kits by Naked Army. Both figures are painted in oils.
Any comments would be nice.
Thanks for looking Alan

 WOW! That's good (y) Did this scale present any challenges other than the normal ones with most "accepted" larger scales?

Are both figures 310mm? What a odd size. The sculpting is very well done. You've enhanced them with a nice paintjob.~Gary

Mate these are top figures, your painting has realy brought them alive, hope to see some more, the size makes them a great conversation piece......

Phil :)

Thanks Guys.
Very kind of you 1/6 scale is large but the detail naked-army gets into their figures is superb and being Austarlian subjects i'll be doing whatever they produce, thanks again for the feedback. If you want to look at their products the web is www.naked-army.com
Cheers
Alan :) ;)

Both of the figures are amazing, but the RAAF pilot is just about unbelievable - what a level of detail!! 310mm? OK - I gotta ask. WHY? Are they going for some kind of "niche" market as the only maker of 310mm figures? That's about all I can come up with. It would be interesting to have whoever owns the company correspond with us and let us know about this. What an unusual approach to a business plan, if that's why 310mm. Are all their figures that size?

All the best,
Dan

Thanks Dan,
i'm still getting used to getting around this site i may have sent you a private message instead of on here.
I love these figures not just because of the subjects they produce at the moment but quiet simply the sculpting is brilliant, detail and historically spot on.All the products i,ve seen from naked army are 310mm 1/6 scale i'll pass on to them the planet figure site and ask them if they'll answer your questions.
Cheers Alan :)
