Just my take on reds ..after spending a long session painting base reds for 3 different busts ..I see red in my Sleep !

At work ..on PF ...not in the cockpit I hope ..lol

Finished the face and powdered wig today, i am pretty happy with the result.

Thanks Kev, yeah, this is a good looking chap, i am sure he'll catch the eyes of the new continent ladies hahha.

I have finished the boots, worked on the hat a little and paint it the base color for the horse using vallejo burnt umber and yellow desert, i must say i love this base color combination.

Well you know these Frenchies ..like me always catching the eyes of the ladies ..they like a Monsieur in uniform ..lol

Like it mate , cap looks good sure I have asked before ..what is your way of painting on the this( I have one on the way to the bench soon!

Will the cockade be all white?

I agree about the horse co,our a good base mix ...even the horse looks rather well brought up..lol

Thanks Kev, the cockade was white , with a smallblack cockade on top to symbolize the ally status with the continentals, in your case the cocarde will be all white.
As for the mix on the hat i will send you a private message.

Horse it's almost done, nee dtome blending and washes , nex t step will be the saddle and pistol holsters.
