That's really good and nice to see him in situ, great work on the cane. The next figure will be interesting being a civvies.

Cheers Simon

Thanks Simon,
The question is what color and pattern to paint on this chap.
Court wear was definitely fancier, i want something more "Austere" for a walk around the palace .

Started the paint job on JP..

I want to go towards a green suit, maybe ivory or buff color for the vest and dark brown/ black pants.

I 've finish thw vest using Golden yellow ( Pro Acryl) as a base.
I 've painted the trim of the vest using dark umber ( Pro Acryl) , then i mix a little bit of both to draw some patterns on the vest.
I finshed the vest with a little idea of mixing Vallejo brush on Satin vaenih with a dab of Pearl medium, i have to say that worked well.

Hi Daniel

You are a speedy painter , really looking good , thought you might add lace but I really like the plain coat idea

Nice work on the waistcoat and the flesh

I think a small dog ..or 2 bouncing around the area would be nice ....perhaps like poodles

Following with much interest and admiration

Happy benchtime

Thanks Kev,
I do have a dog from another 40mm figure, i have to see how it look on the Vignette, that is a great idea and add to the scenette.

And coat is done.
I finally changed the base color with a simple mix of deep yellow and Ultramarine Blue, added a little bit of black for shadows and added more yellow for lights.
I have added a little trim on the coat using Vallejo Air gunmetal grey.
The coat was brushed on with Satin varnish to resemble the " Fancy" coat material.
