Hi Daniel

Boy have I missed a lot from you , needless to say the figures are looking great , the pieces are so full of character and very much the period look

Lovely painting as always

As for the groundwork .......never would have guessed how it was done ......looks excellent ( I thought perhaps you’d cut a Brie cheese in half ...left over from a BBQ ....lol )

Look forward to seeing more and to see what’s going to happen on yr bench in 2025

Happy benchtime

Hey Kev,
You are always giving me good ideas Haha.

It is a great day outside and decided to take few pictures.
The standing trooper is coming along.
I am waiting for few items that are part of the scenery, I've got my bttle of Vallejo still water, never used before, so , watching few videos to inform myself .
Note the arrow on the first pic, when i built the ground i left a deep trail, originally added some dirt, then created a few washes of mixed Navy blue an mid green, some brown areas as well.
I have not watch any videos yet, but i know i can pour the container as is or mix with some colors.
I definitely don't want to make it too blue as i have seen some creeks that are leaning towards the brown/ green.

I have watched a few vids on making streams and pools, they seem to show some colour on the bottom followed by a we bit of Green-Blue mixed into the Gel before its poored into the area to be covered.

I have always wonder how they do it.
I think the base color of the creek i have not should be ok, not sure what i will mix the gel with.
I was thinking some mix of umber and green wash, will see.
