I have finished this xhap, all left to do is adding the hands holding the reins and add the sword knott .
Next i will work on the drums and horse housings.

Was there a pouch on the blue crossbekt ?

Hey my friend
The crossbelts had a hanger hook at the end to place the carbine ring to hang i, a little leather pouch would hang from he pistol holster to hold the end and keep it in place.
 
These diminutive things absolutely enthral me....wonderful work as usual. I remember painting the Poste Militaire Orleans
Trumpeter years ago with its similar colour arrangements - that was highly testing at 90mm !!. These are astonishing and
so appealing..... Brilliant !

Absolutely amazing work on the kettle drummer. Using the Historex hips for the drums was genius. And the banner is.superb.

That trumpeter from the Orleans cavalry was always on my wanted list, it is a shame they stop making those figures.
