That's really good Kev, it even looks like wool, really impressive, looking forward to seeing this one come together.

Cheers Simon

Looking really good, I love the way you handled the checked band, very effective.

Thank you to you both for comments

Whilst at the Yeovil show I noticed the left hand lacing seemed to have slipped ( poss in the printing ) so as Jimbo was there with me he attacked it and removed it ....see pic below

So got home and using MS replaced the trefoil ..........after it had hardened .....

Kept looking at it and it wasn’t in the same position as the other side ...so off it came again

....now extended and waiting to fully dry

....might try and do a version using lead strips .....

Stay tuned !

Mate you ain't ever going to sculpt better than a 3D printer, I doubt many folk could. Best not to mess with bits that can't be realistically replaced the texture on the lace is very fine. That said you're not far from the mark.on the first attempt so keep at it and you'll get there. I'm.looking forward to seeing this conversion so keep up the good work!

Cheers Simon

Great work on the dicing and impressive getting it to meet at the back! His jacket has turned out well too. I'm looking forward to seeing the end result.

I think it's worth the effort to have the braids symmetrical, so keep going!

Good to see you back at the bench, I like the adjustments you've made.
