Been meaning to get round to this Cuirassier for some time,won't be a quick job but I'm glad I started it now

Hi Brian thanks for those pointers, the reason I was interested in your techniques is that you seem to be able to get some lovely soft blending with your oils that have an almost airbrushed appearance, I will have to try those Dark Star metals, I had a stack of trouble trying to find metallic paint that I was happy with and after shelling out for every type available I ended up using the tubes of AK True Metal I like these as you can mix them with oils to obtain dark tones and they brush out nicely but you can still get sparkles onto finished sections of paintwork and that drives me scatty.
I am for Liverpool this weekend, one of my kids starting University so I wont get to the show this year but will try for 2017.
Hope you do well with your figures, cant see why you wont win something.
