Been busy mate, good job on the pouches, they'll help personalise the figure. Got the opposite problem with priming here, got half done yesterday when it was dry, now it looks like it'll never stop raining!

Cheers Simon

I managed to lay down some primer and while waiting for that to dry, I did some building: 7.62, 5.56, 40mm. The front sight of the 40mil will be fitted once in place, likewise the sling for the M4. The tube of the 40mil is not misaligned, it is open for loading.

The barrel of the SCAR moved ever so slightly before the CA glue cured, which was a trifle annoying; also, the channel where the rail fits was also where the pour plug is, which made cleaning and fitting all the more challenging.

Nice work on these, I have a SCAR but it's 5.56. I really like the work you're doing here. I agree that the Airborne Miniatures require a lot of prep work but worth it. As you are showing us.

Right-oh, on with the show... A quick repaint with lighter khaki, leave to dry, mask, chuck the ball for the dog, spray. Repeat. And,

The helmets match, as do the pouches.

I used my son's jacket as a guide, but found it difficult to get some of the finer details in scale. I now need to do some cutting in around the plate carrier before I start on the green of the shirt and green of the camo. This needs a wash and matt finish, too.

Enjoy!

Affirm that, very tedious... Paint, mask, clean air brush, pause, paint etc etc. thankfully it is only three colours on the base colour, then the "droppings" and some touch up with a brush. Until tiger stripe, I managed to to lay the base colour, green, this morning before work this afternoon. I need to do another coat, but the black and brown stripes will be by brush.

Will need a matt varnish to seal and dull that gloss once done.
