After my last disaster, back to Napoleonic's.
Drum Major 5th Regiment. I suspect it is a light Infantry Regiment due to the silver lace but I may be wrong. Advertised as a 75mm figure but foot to eye is 80mm.
Not that I am complaining, I can see it better.
A lovely sculpt and as usual all in acrylics.
I can't find any references for the figure so following the box art.

iffy phone pic's
As per usual I find a picture of the 5th regiment of the line in my references

Hi Bob

Nice to see what’s visiting the bench , another classy figure from Alexandros

Nice start on the flesh and bicorne

Your more happy with Napoleonic I think !

Look forward to seeing more

Following with interest

Have fun @ the bench

Quite surprised Kev didn't have a bag full of reference pictures of this one. I scanned Pintrest, as I have a board with Tambour Majors amongst thousands of others, anyhow I found these two, one is annotated as the 5eme but the other just as light Infantry.

Thank you all, its a nice sculpt and I managed to find one ref in my library,
Simon, many thanks for your two, the first one has some nice details and is 5eme Regiment de ligne.I use Pinterest a lot but didn't come across those , so thanks again

This figure caught my eye on FB. I don't usually have any interest in musicians but this guy just looked the period. Great start.

LOL ....I was painting , musicians are a interesting and colourful subject and this is a fine reference for a fine figure

I recommend following Mr Briggs on Pinterest

Look forward to seeing more from Bob on this

He certainly does look the period , you’d do a great paint on him

Hello Nap,
I found a ref picture in a book of mine, which I have not seen before and like Mr Briggs, I have a lot on Pinterest too but that particular regiment didn't turn up.
May do this one with the Red Cross belt

Hi Bob

Liking the blue so far and the silverwork looks good as does the dashed fine moustache

Adding a red cross belt would be a nice contrast

Thanks for the update

Looking forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

Thanks Nap,
Just a small thing, it seems the sword belt in the picture is different to the one on the figure, may have to leave it white, unless someone knows otherwise.

Like most Napoleonic sure there were many variations ....I don’t think you’d be wrong to go for the red personally unless you want to go white
