I've found out some of them including two drum horses... If there's enough interest I will dig out the others and post them

Interestingly the last image shows a couple of their 110mm scale British Napoleonics. That was in the late '70's/early '80's.

hmm appears the moulds are for sale or did Terry Warren buy them ? N.M. they are the moulds for the toy soldier range

In their day they were as good as anything by the "bigger" firms, they are probably a bit dated by todays standards but would hold their own I feel Roger

I tried John Eden, a couple of years ago, to supply some Rose figures but failed to get any feedback or figures. I hope that he has improved with time.
Cheers,
Keith

Thanks for the link to John Elden, he appears to have the pirates I am looking for. Wish me luck in ordering.

They look like something Chota Sahib did but I can't swear to that
Not Chota. Not nearly the quality. I have been trying to figure this out for some time and no one seems to be able to ID them, not even the person that sold them to me.
Thanks for trying though.

No problems there were loads of small manufacturers around in the 80's if the quality isn't great then my next suspect would be New Hope if you have any Osprey books take a look in those they did a range based on the illustrations that were as I recall pretty dire

Those are not New Hope, and, as those are "one piece cast" you can not compare to actual multi part casting .Those were part of a serie called Yeomenry . I painted some in the end of the 70ies ( see my gallery you can see 4 of them ) the head was not to today standard but the rest was a pleasure to paint . And I think those were early Chota Sahib .

And just for the pleasure have a look here at an unusual " saynette " http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/12109853_michael-garmin-diorama-sculpture-original-bench
